The white color is positive because it has a lot of good meanings behind it. Actually white is positive because it symbolizes purity of one's heart and it also symbolizes the oneness of one's race, group or community. Black is negative because of it's meaning. Black symbolizes sorrow and evil. It also means night or darkness of one's personality or place. It is also the color of mourning used for sad events like funerals. It is also the color of mystery, fear and unhappiness in life. But when it comes to the blacks and the whites as humans, the blacks are positive rather than the whites because they have a good intention and beliefs. The blacks wanted to achieve the goal of being equal to the community of the whites and not treating them as nothing or as a property only. The whites are negative because they only think of themselves and they only wanted to be higher than the race of the blacks.
WHAT EMOTION/TRAIT DO YOU ASSOCIATE WITH EACH COLOR?
Whenever I see the colors of black and white, I felt sadness and happiness. I see the dark and the light side of each human beings. Just like whenever I see the black humans, I felt sadness and discrimination in times when the whites wanted to rule over them and wanting to be higher than them. I felt the sufferings that the blacks are experiencing before they have gotten to the point where the two races have been united because me too have also experienced discrimination in my school years.

I see the colors black and white as the colors of the two different races (the blacks and the whites.) These two colors of human beings are uniquely beautiful in different ways but because of their indifferences, racism occurs in these two races. When Slavery occurs in America, blacks are not only treated as inferiors to white humans but they are also considered as properties instead of treating them as human beings. Because of racism, the blacks suffered a higher percentage rate of unemployment rather than the whites. This really shows that discrimination contributes to the unemployment gap of the blacks and the whites. Now because of racism, I see that it doesn't depends on the color itself. It doesn't mean that if you're white, you're already a good person and if you're black, you're already a bad person. Sometimes it could be the opposite of what these colors mean. In the times when slavery or racism occurs, the white human beings are having the black color because of the attitudes that they are showing towards the black community. They show bad deeds towards the black race in order to be higher than them and show to them how unimportant they are in the society through discrimination. In today's generation, the black and the white community is already united into one community. Accepting, loving and helping each other in order to built a better community and to help in promoting and spreading equality all over the place of America.
